I’ve been a resident of The Landmark Apartments for some time now - relocating from Ohio close to twelve years ago. Prior to my move I researched numerous security-conscious rental properties in Albuquerque and narrowed the list down to a select few that I then toured in person. The Landmark is what I chose. Yes it is an older building and has recently undergone both changes in ownership and management companies. But I can still say I am a satisfied resident. The new management team is great especially when you consider they are dealing with pandemic guidelines never before encountered in our lifetime. The location is ideal as it is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. And the views are fantastic! You should check it out for yourself! UPDATE: I thought it might be time for an update to my review which I submitted after being a resident for 12 years! It’s now been almost 18 years since I moved in! Yes, the Landmark has aged (as have I)! It has seen change in ownership and change in management, as well as some major renovations but it still remains my top choice! The Landmark was built many years ago with its residents being top priority. The location can’t be beat. It is a solid sprinklered building with both passenger and freight elevators and basement garage door access for ease of move-in. The updated exercise room has state-of-the-art equipment and we have a heated year-round pool. The balconies have wonderful views, especially the north side — I am able to watch all of the balloon launches during Balloon Fiesta as well as numerous 4th of July fireworks displays from the comfort of my own apartment. And the Sandias are in view every single day. And last, but not least, I want to recognize two staff members who I couldn’t say enough good things about. Our leasing agent, April, and our maintenance tech, Carlton, are two of the nicest people I know. They both go “above and beyond” doing their best for us residents and striving to keep the Landmark going strong. Take a few moments to check out the Landmark. It might not be new but the “old gal” is still tops in my book!. UPDATE! It’s time for another update from me! I want to acknowledge my appreciation to property manager, Monique, for prioritizing a leak in the ceiling of my shower! She arranged for a vendor to assist our hard-working maintenance man, Carlton, in quickly locating the problem. Thank goodness it turned out to be an easy fix, not even requiring a water shut-off or the opening up of a wall in the unit above me! I’m very pleased with the team currently assigned to The Landmark — Monique, Carlton, and of course our leasing agent, Crystal! The Landmark is not new but, after 18 years, it remains my top choice due to location, security, apartment size, pool, gym, laundry facilities, carport, management staff and the most wonderful views from my windows you could possibly imagine! Check it out for yourself!
